WHO we're looking for:
We are looking for a Business Analyst - Strategic Planning who will be responsible for managing the Quarterly Strategic Planning (QSP) process. You will focus on maintaining the weekly promotion and marketing calendar, conducting promo analysis, and managing processes, and communicating effectively with various functional teams to provide support.
Role and Responsibilities:
QSP Process Management
Oversee the Quarterly Strategic Planning process to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.Continuously improve and streamline QSP processes for better efficiency and effectiveness.Weekly Calendar Maintenance
Maintain and update the weekly calendar, ensuring all activities and deadlines are accurately tracked and communicated.Promo Analysis
Conduct in-depth promo analysis to assess the effectiveness of promotional activities.Provide insights and recommendations based on promo performance data.Model channel-level analysis of promotional spend efficiency, and identify areas to improve national promotion investment.For post-mortem of national promotions, aggregate and analyze performance data from different sources and formats across the organization and from external vendors.Aggregate, collate, and analyze primary, secondary, and third party sources to create analyses to shape national promotional strategy.Develop analysis and insights to support development of acquisition & retention initiatives for specific sales channels.Process Management
Manage and optimize business processes related to the QSP.Identify areas for process improvements and implement necessary changes.Required Experience and Education:
5+ years of work experience in financial, business analytics, and project management preferred.Bachelor's Degree preferred.Excellent proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, data visualization, etc.) and PowerPoint, with ability to translate financial models into strategic/executive communications/Tableau is a plus.Necessary Skills and Attributes:
Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.Very strong business analytical skills, financial acumen, budget management know-how are required.Strong ability to aggregate and consolidate from disparate data sources not readily available or stored.Outstanding proficiency in both oral and written communication modes for both internal and external personnel at various levels.Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all assigned levels within and outside the company and its constituents.Strong proficiency in navigating large organizations and multiple points of contact to complete a singular task.Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects.Physical Demands:

Specific vision abilities required by the job include ability to distinguish the nature of objects by using the eye. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between 50% - 95% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity.
Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. May require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
