EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for a College Recruiter in our Hughes Network Systems division to support University recruitment, internship and entry-level opportunities. This position will be located at our headquarters in Germantown, MD.
Responsibilities:
Partner with universities to build relationships and pipelines for new grads and intern hiringAttract, select, and hire students for both internship and full-time positionsConduct phone screens, facilitate interviews/assessments, and extend offers.Conduct information sessions, deliver presentations to student organizations, attend networking events, and communicate our employer brand.Act as a Talent Acquisition consultant to hiring managers, focusing on early career talent and executing hiring plansCreate strategic partnerships with career services at targeted universities. Use this information and research to present to leadership.Focus on strategy and opportunities to grow an established program to the next levelEngage additional universities that may be able to support hiring needsCollaborate with other SME's within the business to present best practices, program design, and executionProduce metrics on university recruiting efforts such as ROI and acceptance rateManage the university software systemsRequires 25% travel
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or combination of education and experiencePrevious experience in college recruiting
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with Workday or other applicant tracking systemsKnowledge of Avature or other CRM software applicationsAny prior experience with university career centers, targeted college recruiting, or partner relationships
