Position Summary

The Manager Business Analytics is responsible for managing a team of business analysts and building partnerships with Epic, Operations, and the Clinical teams, at the MFA. The manager develops the overarching strategy that drives the work of the analysts, specifically in the areas of reporting and analytics, with a strong focus on driving revenue cycle management performance. The Manager of Business Analytics reports to the Sr. Director, Revenue Cycle.

Responsibilities:

Maintain responsibility for the development and management of data analysis models to support strategic decision-making, cost management and value-based care initiativesPartner with clinical and operations teams to develop action plans to improve revenue cycle management performanceEstablish the metrics for measuring the progress of current initiatives and projection of financial performanceDevelop trend modeling and reporting that reflects the impact of clinical programs and contract changes on revenue cycle management performancePartner with the Sr. Director of Revenue Cycle to analyze and improve revenue processesCollaborate with executive leadership to assess the need for business metrics and dashboards to support strategic decision-makingEstablish consistent and repeatable processes to improve revenue cycle management performancePromote a culture of critical thinking to inform critical decision-making in collaboration with executive directors and clinical leadershipDevelop executive presentations to provide updates regarding the status of current initiatives and explaining analytical findingsProvide mentorship to business analystsExperience and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field of studyMinimum of seven years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management and business analysis, preferably within healthcareMinimum of three years working with and understanding the Epic suite of analytical toolsMinimum of three years of project management experience gathering analysis and documentationMinimum of five years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as TableauExperience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insightsExperience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholdersKnowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirementsPhysical Requirements

Must be able to constantly stand, walk, reach outward, and apply manual dexterity in an office setting.Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull over 100 lbs. as part of the role.Requires manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, calculator, copier machine, and other equipment.
