Job SummaryManage day to day custom compliance activity within the region supporting Sr Manager of Supply Chain.
Job Description
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide required guidance and support to remote locations to facilitate the implementation of policies and procedures for the import / export of rigs and material to ensure Company is in compliance with local regulatory requirements.Support the initiatives within these remote locations to develop in-house Customs expertise relative to import /export formalities.Work in collaboration with customs agents within the region to resolve customs issues relative to import export in a manner to eliminate / reduce the risk of fines and penalties.Support the set-up of policies and procedures relative to the Compliance function.Actively analyze and manage the performance of regional network of customs brokers through performance reviews / evaluations.Interact with local rig management to gain support for our compliance initiatives.Identify compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation.Support the NCRP program.Keep informed regarding pending industry changes, trends, and best practices and assess the potential impact of these changes.Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Experience:
Minimum Required: 5 years related work experience
Preferred: 7 years related work experience
Skills:
Strong Logistics and Compliance Knowledge.Good understanding of best practices.Pre-Requisite/ Qualification
Must successfully complete pre-employment drug screen.Must successfully complete pre-employment background check.
