Summer Analyst, International Asset Management & Development
to join our team in
Summer 2025 . This position will be based in Santa Monica and report to the Associate, Development, International. This role will support QuadReal’s International Development Management and Asset Management teams by assisting in the oversight of active development projects in the Americas, Europe and Asia as well as providing analytical support for multiple asset types.What We Offer:An organization and leaders that support your development through meaningful work experienceA Student Mentorship Program designed to provide 1:1 support throughout your experienceOpportunities to build your industry knowledge through Corporate Speaker Series & Fireside ChatsGiving back to community with your peers and team members through volunteering eventsOpportunities to build long lasting industry and professional relationshipsWhat You Will Experience:Understand and be exposed to all aspects of the real estate lifecycle — with a focus on ground up development and construction, as well as property operations, stabilized asset management, business plan, budget implementation and disposition activitiesAssist in review and analysis of project budgeting, scheduling, design specifications, market reports and operating statementsDevelop working knowledge of real estate documents such as development and lease agreements in order to assist with project trackingDevelop a working knowledge of partnership agreements, development agreements, construction agreements, property management agreements and other agreements to assist with project tracking and oversight responsibilitiesAssist in tracking risks to project delivery against approved underwriting and financial operations against approved budgetAnalyze critical path impact of entitlement, design and schedule changes, and assist in assessing mitigation strategies and alternatives to ensure maximum project returnsCollect and validate construction market, lease-up, performance and benchmark data from various internal and external sourcesAnalyze project sustainability, wellness and smart building specifications against programmatic goals and portfolio wide performance benchmarksAssist with monthly and quarterly reporting, construction progress metrics, operating performance measurements and other KPIsWork with multiple teams to audit and maintain proprietary databases and reporting dashboards for accurate and timely reportingWhat You Will Bring:Education
– Completing a university degree with a major in Real Estate, Real Estate Development, Real Estate Finance and Investment Construction Management. Pursuing a graduate degree in one of these fields is an asset.Analytical
– Strong quantitative and analytical skills; detail-oriented and proficient in building and handling complicated data sets.Communication
– Excellent communication and presentation skills; demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate and present results that articulate key themes and messages.Organization
– Must be able to allocate time effectively and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, handle multiple demands and competing priorities, and adapt to new ideas and change. Comfortable following direction but also contributing to the direction.Software
– Must have advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word; knowledge of Yardi, ProCore or Bluebeam Revu an asset.Relationship
– Must be extremely proactive and work well in a collaborative environment, with the ability to take guidance but then move projects forward independently.Values

– Previous experience in real estate investment, asset management, development, construction oversight, architecture, or engineering.
