Summer 2025 . This position will be based in Santa Monica and will report directly to the Associate, International Asset Management. This role will support QuadReal’s International Asset Management team by assisting in the oversight of the Industrial Portfolio in the U.S.What We Offer:An organization and leaders that support your development through meaningful work experienceA Student Mentorship Program designed to provide 1:1 support throughout your experienceOpportunities to build your industry knowledge through Corporate Speaker Series & Fireside ChatsGiving back to community with your peers and team members through volunteering eventsOpportunities to build long lasting industry and professional relationshipsWhat You Will Experience:Work closely with asset managers to maximize the total return for each asset through the analysis of property fundamentals and identifying opportunities for improved performanceAssist in the monitoring of existing investments, including the maintenance, the analysis and the review of monthly/quarterly reports, operating statements and investment documentsParticipate in the preparation of recurring reporting for clients and senior managementWork closely with the investment and portfolio team to audit and maintain the asset management databases and the Argus and Excel-based cash flow models for each asset from acquisition through dispositionPrepare hold/sell analyses and lease approval memos in conjunction with the investment team and asset managersUnderstand and be exposed to all aspects of asset managing real estate through its lifecycle—acquisition/development, business plan implementation, stabilization and dispositionWork collaboratively and provide support, assistance and back-up to other team membersActively adhere to compliance and risk management policies and participate in business continuity planningWhat You Will Bring:Education

– Completing a university degree with a major in Real Estate, Real Estate Development, Real Estate Finance or Investment Management. Pursuing a graduate degree in one of these fields is an asset.Analytical

– Strong quantitative and analytical skills; detail-oriented and proficient in building and handling complicated data sets.Communication

– Excellent communication and presentation skills; demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate and present results that articulate key themes and messages.Organization

– Must be able to allocate time effectively and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, handle multiple demands and competing priorities, and adapt to new ideas and change. Comfortable following direction but also contributing to the direction.Software

– Must have advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word; knowledge of Yardi, ProCore or Bluebeam Revu an asset.Relationship

– Must be extremely proactive and work well in a collaborative environment, with the ability to take guidance but then move projects forward independently.Values

– Embrace and pro-actively support QuadReal’s values and its culture of environmental sustainability and corporate and social responsibility.Experience

– Previous experience in real estate investment, asset management, development, construction oversight, architecture, or engineering.
