More information is available at sphereentertainmentco.com.Who are we hiring?The Sphere Marketing team is searching for a Director, Brand Strategy to lead a newly defined strategy team and guide our brand building efforts across a wide variety of Sphere experiences, cultural moments, and partnerships. This person will play a key cross-functional role, working closely with Brand Programs, Customer Marketing, Creative, Product, Sales, and other teams.The Director Brand Strategy will be based in our Burbank, CA office and report to the VP Brand Strategy & Programs for Sphere Entertainment.What will you do?Lead a team of Brand Strategists, defining clear roles and responsibilities for individual team members.Oversee and directly contribute to strategic brand initiatives including brand positioning and messaging, visual identity, brand guidelines, and brand campaigns.Guide and partner with the Research team to deepen our understanding of the Sphere brand, competitors, target audiences, and the wider cultural context.Lead the briefing of integrated creative for all Sphere experiences, in partnership with the Customer Marketing and Creative teams.Lead our cultural strategy and oversee creative briefing and planning for a year-round calendar of activations that elevate the Sphere brand in culture.Consult on brand solutions as/when needed to ensure that exosphere advertisers unlock the greatest value and potential from our platform.Prepare and present reports regularly to senior management and cross-functional partners.What do you need to succeed?Passion to shape the future of entertainment globally and a curiosity for how technology will enable new experiences that wow audiences.12+ years of experience leading brand and marketing strategy initiatives, including 5+ years leading a strategy team.A mix of agency and in-house experience at a large, matrixed corporation preferred. Entertainment and Tech brand experience strongly preferred.Deep expertise briefing and guiding the development of a wide variety of creative outputs, from brand design, to integrated campaigns, to social content and IRL experiences.Expert communicator with leadership presence and a proven ability to positively influence stakeholders across a large organization.Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with flexibility to pivot plans as business needs change and opportunities arise.Highly collaborative with infectious enthusiasm and openness to new ideas/solutions.Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and manage workload.Accountable and detail-oriented, from planning to execution and analysis of results.
