Utilize writing and creative design skills to develop and distribute compelling multimedia content and execute strategies to improve content quality and brand consistency. Contribute to marketing initiatives to drive traffic and engagement to increase Captive Resources brand/product awareness and consideration by informing and persuading our target audience.

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or a related discipline. Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in web related marketing and content development.

Skills/Competencies Requirements:Experience creating content for B2B digital and email marketing campaigns and growing a social media audience: skilled at understanding what audiences consume and how to create it.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; copywriting, editing, and proofreading original content.Working knowledge of graphic design/content development software including Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), TURTL, etc. Working knowledge of Ceros platform is a plus.Experience with video editing and animation software (e.g., Premier Pro) is a plus.Basic working knowledge of project management and marketing automation tools e.g., HubSpot.Basic working knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS), specifically WordPress.An understanding of SEO best practices and the ability to create and optimize content for search engine results.Ability to deliver results throughout multiple stages in the buying journey, from engagement to education to conversion.Skilled in developing compelling and creative presentations using presentation software such as PowerPoint.Project management skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail, and analytical skills.Works well independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Experience writing for the Insurance industry and/or knowledge of medical stop-loss insurance is desirable, but not required.Proficient in Microsoft Office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Write, edit, create, and publish original content for multiple internal and external channels including blog posts, articles, brochures, infographics, videos, newsletters, case studies, and other assets.Develop compelling and creative presentations primarily to educate and inform prospective clients and brokers.Uphold brand consistency and increase brand/product awareness.Collaborate with other departments to help refine the brand story and work with the Content Manager and others on the Marketing team to plan content that aligns with Marketing strategy.Assist in monitoring content performance and reporting on content analysis, metrics, KPIs.Contribute to the overall content strategy with fresh, innovative ideas and solutions.

PRIORITIES:

Work with Marketing Content Manager and others on the Marketing team to develop and publish content and execute campaigns. Work with Captive and Business Development Executives to produce engaging educational presentations and videos that support the Marketing strategy.
