Pay Details:

The starting hourly rate range for this position is $22.67 to $28.34 per hour. The actual hourly rate offered will take internal value, peer equity, job-related factors, and other organizational considerations into account.The Marketing & Media Coordinator will support marketing efforts for OCVIBE, the Anaheim Ducks, and Honda Center by managing media campaigns across traditional, digital, and non-traditional platforms. This role includes coordinating digital media buying (such as Google Ads, social media, and display networks) to ensure alignment with event and business goals. Additionally, the coordinator will assist with daily tasks within the Honda Center Marketing Department, manage cross-functional communications, and work closely with various departments to ensure cohesive campaign execution. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented marketer with excellent organizational skills, and a passion for live entertainment, sports, and events.Responsibilities

Marketing

Help coordinate internal communications for promotions and events, including emails, website banners, and outdoor marquees.Assist in the planning and promotion of marketing efforts related to parking, HR, food & beverage, and district-wide activities, including helping with signage and other marketing materials.Work with the marketing team to help develop campaigns aimed at boosting ticket sales, brand awareness, and community involvement.Contribute to the creation of marketing materials, such as promotional content and assets for digital and print media.Provide general support to various departments, assisting with daily tasks and communications.Media

Develop, execute, and optimize media buying strategies across traditional, digital, streaming, and programmatic platforms for OCVIBE, Anaheim Ducks, and Honda Center events.Negotiate with media vendors for competitive rates, leveraging the buying power of OCSE to secure optimal placements and added value opportunities.Manage digital media buying efforts, including but not limited to Google Ads, social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.), and display networks, ensuring alignment with event and business goals.Track and evaluate the performance of media campaigns, adjusting strategies to optimize for maximum ROI and audience engagement.Provide marketing support for OCVIBE, Anaheim Ducks, and Honda Center events by implementing effective media campaigns that align with the goals of each brand.Collaborate with media partners for event promotions and ensure visibility across platforms (LED boards, TV loops, social channels, etc.).Utilize media partnerships to complement paid media with trade promotions and third-party collaborations.Stay up to date with the latest media trends, platforms, and technologies to ensure the most effective media buying strategies are employed.Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.1-3 years of media buying and event coordination experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing software.Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills.A flexible schedule with availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.Analytical skills with the ability to track and measure campaign success, driving data-informed decisions.Able to multitask in fast-paced environments, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.Knowledge, Skills and Experience
