Assists with overall direction, financial performance, development, and operations of the Food and Beverage Department with the ultimate objective of providing maximum profit and return on investment while creating an attractive environment and outstanding guest service.Duties and Responsibilities (specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to):Enforce performance standards and policies per Casino Del Sol expectations.Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and regulations across all food outlets.Optimize cost effectiveness by adhering to budgets and revenue benchmarks.Manage portion controls, menu costing, and inventory in line with budget guidelines for all food outlets.Ensure smooth venue operations for guest satisfaction.Monitor staffing levels and assist managers in adjustments based on demand for all food outlets.Oversee staff certifications and maintain relevant records.Conduct inspections of dining and kitchen areas for safety and cleanliness for proper conditions.Review recruitment, hiring, and performance evaluation processes for equity.Mentor and develop, directly reports through performance feedback and professional development.Contribute to long-term strategic planning in alignment with Casino Del Sol's mission.Analyze financial reports to enhance operational efficiency.Address and resolve guest grievances.Implement and monitor guest service standards.Collaborate with supervisors on operational improvements and correct deficiencies.Demonstrate strong team leadership and collaboration with all departments.Effectively communicate to senior management.Effectively manage staffing levels to business volume and revenue.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesProficient in financial statements, hospitality, and budget accounting.Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage products and operations.Understanding of applicable laws and departmental policies.Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to deliver exceptional guest service and lead a high performing team.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Skilled in strategic thinking and problem solving for costs, and all other expenses.Capacity to work long hours in all weather conditions and maintain a flexible schedule.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or hotel/restaurant certification from a credentialed school; 15 years of direct Food and Beverage management experience, including five years of recent and relevant experience managing multiple restaurant outlets.Five (5) years of progressive responsibility in managing profit and loss, including upscale food outlet services within the gaming and hospitality industries.Experience in developing restaurant concepts and menus.Demonstrated track record of leadership excellence as well as partnering.Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software, especially word processing and spreadsheets.Must possess required certifications (e.g., Alcohol Awareness and ServSafe), or the ability to obtain them within six (6) months.Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
