This role will comprehend the overall corporate sales strategy and effectively develop and implement a strategic business plan to meet those objectives. This role will also meet the territory sales goals and expectations for the territory by effectively communicating sales goals and objectives to territory personnel under the RVP leadership.Key Responsibilities:Regional Market Managers directly report to the RVPLeads all distribution-related activity for national accounts (blue chip/large brokers, designer space)Develops strategic business plan (production, retention, education, and profitability) for all targeted lines of businessHas responsibility for generating profitable growthProvide leadership and development to all territory personnelHas responsibility for meeting expense plan for their selves and their territoryMonitors and evaluates distribution leaders on performance against annual plans and provides coaching and constructive feedback as appropriateHas responsibility for conducting progress reviews, providing constructive feedback and recommending merit increases, promotions and terminations for direct reportsSupervisory Responsibilities:This job does have supervisory duties.Preferred Qualifications:Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree or equivalent experience; may also have advanced degree10 or more years of related experienceCertificates, Licenses, RegistrationsNoneFunctional SkillsAdvanced knowledge of individual and group products as well as payroll allotment and section 125Strong sales, communication and relationship building skillsAbility to analyze, assemble and deliver informationExtensive voluntary insurance product knowledgeKnowledge of the industry, including competitors and trends (benchmarking)Superior interpersonal skillsStrong communication skillsProblem solving skillsOvernight travel may be appliedSkills:Customer Centricity, Digital Literacy, Inclusive Leadership, Learning Agility, Results-OrientedCompensation:Compensation offered for this role is $132,300.00 - 181,950.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.Joining our team isn’t just a job — it’s an opportunity.
