Holiday Inn Riverton - QTs RestaurantWe are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the front and back of the house staff, managing all aspects of food preparation, and ensuring the highest quality of culinary dishes. QTs Restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner. The hotel hosts meetings, banquets, and special events requiring food service for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and breakout sessions. The Executive Chef works with the sales manager on all events.Duties:
Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activitiesCreate innovative menus and recipesSupervise kitchen and lounge staff, including line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashersSupervise front of house staff, including servers, host/hostesses, and bussersManage inventory control and food costsEnsure compliance with food safety regulationsMaintain a clean and organized kitchen environmentCollaborate with General Manager on budgeting and financial goalsQualifications:
Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Director or similar role in a high-volume restaurantStrong knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and proceduresExcellent leadership and team management skillsProficiency in inventory management and cost controlUnderstanding of kitchen health and safety regulationsCulinary degree or equivalent certification is a plusThis is a year-round management position with a salary range of $65,000-$80,000/year.
