JOB SUMMARYThe

Senior Associate Business Analyst

is responsible for delivering reports, analysis and insights around campaigns and marketing performance across multiple marketing channels (Direct Mail, Email, Media and Digital) with a heavy emphasis on digital marketing and our ecommerce sales channel. This includes marketing aimed at individual consumers and small-to-medium-sized Businesses. This individual is expected to have a thorough understanding of the business & marketing tactics, create analytical reports, work on large data sets and provide performance insights related to marketing tactics and overall market performance.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWorks on ad hoc reports and analysis based on data from a variety of sources and create executive level presentations and insights.Manages the development of standard and ad hoc reports related to the data warehouse and data append processes.Consult with their marketing peers on future strategies, explain variances in volumes month to month, provide performance reporting, and manage marketing projects.Works with complex data in a relational database environment, and uses numerous data sources to determine the best approach to create reports, and analyze strategy performance.Understands the objectives and goals of marketing campaigns & initiatives within the organization and recommends solutions to improve performance based on data evidence and insights.Analyzes external market dynamics and other data sources to assess trends and maintain historical reports.Ensures the integrity of data in the direct-to-consumer marketing data warehouse.Performs other duties as assigned and continually learns and adds skills needed on the job.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSRequired Skills/Abilities and KnowledgeAbility to read, write, speak and understand English.Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner.Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel.Ability to multitask, prioritize and execute deliverables in a high-pressure environment.Ability to analyze/interpret data and continually evolve based on key learnings.Advanced Excel & PowerPoint presentment skills.Advanced skills in one or more of the following programs: SQL, VBA, SAS, R, Python.High attention to detail & ability to prioritize & organize effectively.Demonstrated ability in visualizations, designing and developing dashboards on a variety of different platforms (Excel, PowerBI, MSTR, Tableau, Adobe etc.).Excellent problem solving and analytical skills including budgeting, forecasting, advanced modelling, attribution and strategic testing.Firm understanding of test and control methodologies.Knowledge of best practice marketing strategies and procedures.Required EducationBachelor's degree in Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics, Business or Computer/Data Science.Required Related Work Experience and Number of YearsRelated Work ExperienceMarketing Analytics experience - 2+ years.Marketing Test Design/Audience Segmentation experience - 1+ year.Experience with attribution modeling & forecasting techniques - 1+ year.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSPreferred Skills/Abilities and KnowledgeExpertise with Data extraction, reporting, and visualization tools (i.e. SQL, Tableau, Microstrategy, etc).Preferred EducationMBA/advanced degree.Required Related Work Experience and Number of YearsRelated Work ExperienceMarketing Database/Technology experience - 2+ years.Data Mining & or Data Science experience - 1+ year.WORKING CONDITIONSOffice work environment.
