Category Lead
to oversee the petrochemicals category and the sourcing team for the Americas.Responsibilities:Manage the regional category team by mentoring, coaching and enhancing their skillsWith the category team, oversee the petrochemical spend for the AmericasWork cross-functionally with other business unitsCreate and implement sourcing strategiesLead negotiations and help create and manage contractsConduct market research and ensure competitive pricing with supply partnersThe ideal candidate:Bachelor’s degree is preferred and MBA preferred8+ years of experience sourcing chemicals (ideally petrochemicals)Knowledge of petrochemicals and olefins is strongly preferredExperience with risk managementMy client, an industry leader is offering a very generous compensation package including bonus and full relocation.I am a recruiter with 20 years of experience, currently recruiting Procurement & Supply Chain Management professionals for food and chemical manufacturing companies nationwide.
