K-State Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for a

SENIOR ASSOCIATE ATHLETICS DIRECTOR OF COMPLIANCE , which is a full-time, salaried, benefits-eligible position.Job Responsibilities:

Head of the K-State Athletics, Inc. Compliance OfficeDevelop procedures to ensure institutional controlDevelop and monitor compliance systems pertaining to recruitment, admission, eligibility, financial aid and housingOversee and monitor all recruiting activities performed by coaches to include contacts and evaluations, NIL, travel reports, official visits, and unofficial visitsEnsure compliance with NCAA and Big 12 Conference rules and regulations relating to recruitment, eligibility, admissions, financial aid, housing and welfare of student-athletesInvestigate all alleged violations of NCAA and Big 12 Conference rules and regulations that govern K-State Athletics and prepare self-reportsEstablish and oversee procedures for administration of the National Letter of IntentMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree at the time of applicationFive years of experience in a full-time position at a NCAA Division I school compliance office, collegiate athletic conference, and/or NCAA national officeDemonstrated extensive knowledge of NCAA Division I legislationProven ability to monitor, maintain and further develop a comprehensive NCAA Division I collegiate compliance program and interact successfully with athletic administrators, coaches, student-athletes, and other campus personnelProven experience successfully overseeing a NCAA Division I collegiate compliance office, review and investigate alleged violations, monitor all department-wide compliance policies and procedures, oversee initial and continuing eligibility and financial aidExperience processing waivers and student-athlete reinstatements, and provide rules education and interpretationsPreferred Qualifications:Master's Degree or J.D.More than five years of experience in a full-time position at a NCAA Division I school compliance office, collegiate athletic conference and/or NCAA national officeOther Requirements:Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employmentMust possess strong computer skills, including thorough knowledge of MS Office and NCAA computer-based programs, such as Compliance Assistant, LSDBi, and AMA OnlineStrong organizational and analytical skills; strong attention to detail; excellent interpersonal skills; and excellent written and oral communication skillsHow to Apply:To be considered for this position, applicants must complete the online application and submit/upload the following documents:Cover letter including your qualifications for the positionResume that includes three professional references and their contact information (name, title, phone number, email address)Salary Rate / Pay Rate:$130,000 to $150,000Benefits:Excellent medical, dental and vision health plansGenerous earned leave plans - vacation and sickParental leave planEmployer paid term life insuranceEmployer paid accidental death and dismemberment insuranceEmployer paid long term disability insurancePaid KSU designated holidaysEqual Employment Opportunity:Kansas State University is an Equal Opportunity Employer of individuals with disabilities and protected veterans and actively seeks diversity among its employees.Background Screening Statement:In connection with your application for employment, Kansas State University will procure a Background Screen on you as part of the process of considering your candidacy as an employee.
