Milliman's Employee Benefit Consulting Practice is looking for a consulting actuary with significant experience working with multiemployer (Taft-Hartley) pension plans to join our growing practice. What We Are Looking ForPreferred QualificationsSignificant experience as a client-facing consultant for multiemployer pension plansDeep technical expertise in the rules and regulations impacting multiemployer pension plansEnrolled Actuary designationStrong ability to communicate technical topics to non-technical audiencesAbility to relate to, and work with, people of varied backgroundsAbility to travel to client meetings and industry eventsExperience managing actuarial staffDesire to actively participate in growing our businessStrong industry connections and marketing skillsExperience speaking at industry conferences or trade group eventsIf you are a multiemployer consultant who doesn't have all of the preferred qualifications but feel this is the job for you, we would still like to hear from you.

LocationThis is a remote position. Candidates hired into this role may work onsite in select Milliman office locations, if they prefer. This job posting is anticipated to remain active through December 31, 2024.

CompensationThe salary range for this role is $118,000 - $254,000, depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc.
