Our Global Operations Team – all business professionals of the firm – was named the “Best Business Team” by The American Lawyer.This position's primary responsibility is ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounting information in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and the firm’s accounting policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities include regulatory reporting, tax schedules and managing Partner lifecycle schedules.

What You’ll Do:Maintain Partner draw and distribution schedules monthly, including the calculation file and memos to report the monthly pay information to the Partners.Support the annual allocation process with reports by office, BU and Tier for both Equity and Non-equity Partners. Track and share various metrics to confirm that the process is equitable and inclusive.Proactively work with Partner to help them understand their cash flows, income, taxes and the payment process, especially as Partners join the firm or elevate to the role of Partner.Respond to Partner’s requests, including Income verifications, Capital loan set-up and management, Capital balances and increases.Prepare and post journal entries to the firm’s integrated financial system, especially as it relates to maintaining the Equity/Partner Accounts.Prepare complicated monthly account reconciliations for firm accounts, including multi-currency reconciliations in cash and accrual.Assist in the preparation of schedules for all firm audits (US, UK, Germany and HK), related to the Equity section of the financials.Assist in the preparation of several tax schedules for preparing tax returns in several international jurisdictions.Act as a mentor to other accountants to facilitate the recording of new and complicated accounting and tax transactions.Proactively recommend operational improvements to address emerging regulations globally.Assume additional responsibilities as requested.

Who You Are:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or equivalent.5+ years of related financial management experience in a professional service organization; law firm experience preferred.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.Excellent computer skills, proficiency in spreadsheet software applications, and ability to train others in their use.Experience with International operations, including working within multiple book types and multiple currencies.
