Welcome to the New West Palm Beach Autograph Collection Resort, a distinguished new property in the Pyramid Global Hospitality portfolio set to open this year as a 4-Diamond resort. Located in the heart of West Palm Beach, our resort will feature 150 elegantly designed rooms and villas, multiple exquisite restaurants, a world-class spa, and a stunning golf course. Overview:

The new West Palm Beach Autograph Collection Resort, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, a leading hospitality company that offers career opportunities and has a steadfast commitment to putting people first, is currently looking for a Director of Outlets.

The Director of Outlets oversees all facets of the restaurant and bar of the restaurants, bars and lounge with specific focus on the PM operations.

The Director is also responsible for the hiring, training, supervising, and coaching of the staff. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for delivering the best in class service and can inspire the same results in their team. Must have F&B experience with bar menus, managing budgets for labor, food and beverage and inventory and cost control. Must be knowledgeable on innovations and trends, and passionate about dining experiences.

Some responsibilities include:

Attains food and beverage sales goals by executing marketing strategies and controlling costs.

Prepares market plan by developing strategies to increase market share. Analyses sales, reviews competitive surveys and develops new plan.

Executes market plan by implementing agreed upon strategies. Utilizes effective management practices to set goals, develop strategies, evaluate results and adjust strategies as required.

Ensures that menu engineering supports marketing goals by selecting menu items and recommending prices based on competition and market trends.

Maintains marketing and merchandising standards of operations.

Achieves profitability goals for restaurants, bars, catering and room service while providing the guest with quality service.

Develops the food and beverage budget by reviewing the department head recommendations and trends, preparing a budget package and presenting the completed budget to the VP/Managing Director.

Implements the approved budget. Monitors revenues and costs daily and takes corrective action where necessary.

Controls costs by adhering to standards of operations for forecasting, budgeting, scheduling, payroll control and other expense management systems.

Ensures that each department is run in accordance with the food and beverage standards of operations.

Maintains control of food, beverage and supply costs and inventory by adhering to standards for purchasing and inventory control.

The Director of Outlets also ensures that department training goals are executed on an ongoing basis.

Monitors training and follow-up to ensure that all employees receive training on an ongoing basis.

The Director of Outlets also achieves catering goals by ensuring that marketing and sales strategies are executed to maximize sales and that customer service standards are adhered to.

Maximizes catering sales by ensuring that catering sales personnel utilize direct selling, verbal merchandising and up selling techniques.

Qualifications:

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Fluent in English, written and verbal. A second language would be considered an Asset.

Post-secondary education specializing in hotel/restaurant management or culinary arts, or equivalent experience is required.

Must have at least 3-5 years’ previous management experience in a luxury hospitality environment.

Ability to promote best practices and set high standards of Food & Beverage excellence.

Must be familiar with global food and beverage trends and cuisines.

Passion for learning and teaching.

Professionally respected within the field of F&B.

Computer savvy with Microsoft Office Suite.
