Planned Parenthood Los Angeles is seeking an experienced

DEIA Coordinator

to work in our Downtown Los Angeles Headquarters. Under the supervision of the Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility, this role will support all the operational areas of the coordination of organizational DEIA programming and initiatives. The position provides administrative support to DEIA leadership including but not limited to presenting DEIA concepts to staff during new hire onboarding, coordination of DEIA and employee engagement events, and providing reports to leadership in support of the organization's DEIA strategy.Over one hundred years ago, Planned Parenthood was founded on the idea that everyone should have the information and care they need to live strong, healthy lives and fulfill their dreams. Our Ideal Candidate will have the following qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.One (1) to Three (3) years’ experience in administrative assistant work or similar position preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and similar software as well as familiarity with using virtual meeting software (such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom).1+ years’ experience in DEIA work or related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.Bilingual English/Spanish speakers are encouraged to apply.About the Position:

Abortion patients are cared for at each of our health centers, and in part through the administrative, support, and other non-clinical services provided at all PPLA locations, and by all PPLA employees. Supporting these critical services is an essential job duty, and a fundamental responsibility of all employees and contractors.Provide administrative and logistical support to DEIA leadership team and supervisor.Under the guidance of the Director, coordinate all employee DEIA events including but not limited to the hiring of vendors, processing payments, budget monitoring, scheduling events and day of coordination.Schedule and calendar meetings and DEIA events, including confirming participants, communicating to participants, sending calendar holds, reserving rooms, and setting up in-person and virtual meeting spaces.Take meeting notes, send action items, and follow up, as needed. Prepare agendas and lead or facilitate meetings, as requested.Maintain records and documents for purchases, track spending, submit purchase orders and check requests, and reconcile credit card statements.Support DEIA leadership team with compiling information and drafting reports, and communications, such as the Monthly Management Report, newsletters, and email communications.Assist with the preparation of presentations on people analytics to a range of stakeholders, including but not limited to employee engagement, health equity, and other DEIA topics.Share feedback on multiple sources of organizational data to support actionable insights on DEIA issues and strategies.Assist in creating an inclusive and positive workplace culture through providing feedback on ROI for current engagement programs including onboarding, employee recognition (Kudos), employee perks and offerings, and other benefits.Identify opportunities to improve processes for administrative tasks and provide suggestions to supervisor.Support engagement with culture champions across the organization to ensure a consistent employee engagement experience.Plan and coordinate the schedule and logistics for the department’s internal training workshops/sessions. Maintain attendance records and program evaluations. Assist DEIA leadership in DEIA staff training.Conduct new hire presentation for DEIA section during new hire onboarding.Remain current on all DEIA best practices within the area of responsibility.Generous salary and benefits package includes:
