JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient and effective storage, distribution, and management of goods. This role involves strategic planning and coordination with various departments to optimize warehouse processes and ensure alignment with overall organizational goals.

WHAT ARE YOUR ASSIGNMENTS

Leadership and Management:

Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse team members.

Foster a positive work environment and promote team cohesion and engagement.

Implement training programs and performance management processes.

Operational Oversight:

Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving processes.

Ensure accurate and timely processing of all orders and shipments.

Optimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize efficiency and space utilization.

Develop and drive a culture of accountability through daily assessments and operational evaluation.

Upon review of operating KPIs, undertake steps to correct any issues or concerns.

Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement strategic plans for warehouse operations to support business objectives and growth.

Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and drive operational excellence.

Inventory Management:

Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.

Coordinate with procurement and other departments to align inventory with demand forecasts.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.

Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment.

Budget and Cost Control:

Manage the warehouse budget, including labor, equipment, and operational costs.

Identify and implement cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements.

Technology and Systems:

Oversee the implementation and utilization of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology solutions.

Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to enhance warehouse operations.

WHAT YOU HAVE ALREADY ACHIEVED

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required.

Five (5) years or more relevant experience in the supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or industry-related field required.

Two (2) years or more direct supervisory/leadership experience required.

Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain processes.

ATTRIBUTES NEEDED FOR THE ROLE

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.

Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse management.

WORK SCHEDULE

The Warehouse Manager role will require your flexibility to work and travel at least 20% of the time, when necessary to carry out the duties assigned between both warehouses in Nevada and Tennessee.
