Overview

The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for the efficient scheduling, management, and coordination of all sub-contractors, construction trades, and labor crews to work in unity in order to ensure quality and construction progress according to the project Master Schedule. The Assistant Project Superintendent will have proven construction experience as a Superintendent, a history of leading, teaching, and mentoring others successfully, and the ability to thoroughly understand and follow plans, project specifications, design documents, code requirements, and other similar construction activities.Location & Travel Details:

You'll get the opportunity to travel across the US, helping our team build infrastructure projects.

This is a traveling position, up to 100% of the time. You have the potential to be placed on a project site located in any state throughout the US.

You'll spend 8-12 months on average per project. We offer designated weekly per diem in addition to base pay to support and help you cover living expenses and relocation assistance. The position includes a vehicle allowance. Travel home rotation will be paid for by Lemartec to cover one weekend per month away from the jobsite.Responsibilities

Permit document administration and controlComplete review and understanding of subcontractor's scope of workCoordinate safety meetings and overall responsibility for project safetyControl project access and trafficTool/equipment inventory, coordination, and rentalCoordinate, schedule, and maintain records of all project testing and certificates including concrete and soil testingCoordinate with PM, PCM, and PFE daily regarding project progress, S/C performance, QA/QC, and reportingComplete "3-week look ahead schedule" and update master schedule with PCMComplete Daily Log Reports (Procore)Maintain "As Built" drawings for final submittalCoordinate and schedule project inspectionsFinal inspection and proper close-out documentationQuality control of installed materials and EquipmentSite layout and control of benchmarksQualifications

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related fieldMinimum 3 years' work experience in constructionKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesMust have project scheduling, planning, organization, and document controlSuperior communication and organization skills, especially when managing subcontractors and inspectorsOSHA Certification - In-depth knowledge of OSHA safety standards and proceduresExperience with the following software: Microsoft Office Suite, Scheduling Programs, and DocumentIn addition to the above listed minimum requirements, candidates who possess the following skills, experience, and capabilities may receive greater consideration during the evaluation process:10+ years of experience as a construction SuperintendentExperience with Microsoft Project or Primavera (P6)Experience in projects greater than $20 millionBilingual (English/Spanish)Willingness to travel through the USWhat's in it for you:
