Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.The Principal Technical Program Manager role will be at the forefront of driving the country expansion for Project Kuiper and launch readiness activities with cross-functional stakeholders. The role will own project plans, align teams, track progress for multiple inter-connected work streams, think globally and act locally in delivering the best customer experience in any region, and to make our international expansion repeatable, simple, and faster.Key job responsibilities
This Principal Technical Program Manager is a highly visible role across the organization. You will drive alignment across Engineering, Business Development, Network Engineering, User Experience, Finance, Accounting, Tax, Legal, Customer Support, Sales and Business Intelligence teams. We are looking for a highly analytical, resourceful, customer focused, team-oriented individual who also has the ability to work independently under significant time constraints to meet deadlines. You must have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership, launching 0-1 products and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. You will own the end-to-end management and implementation of the communication between customers and internal teams for driving Kuiper systems readiness, country expansion and strategic partnership launches.You will own, define, track and deliver programs with significant complexity and cross-org impact. You will propose and drive innovation that will improve the customer experience in a wide and diverse set of industries at a global scale. You will establish mechanisms to track and report status updates across Product Engineering, Accounting, AR, Finance, Legal and Tax orgs. You will hold individuals/teams accountable to their deliverables, identifying and resolving blocking issues and raising the right levels of escalations to ensure the delivery per established plans.You will understand and influence systems architecture design, evaluate solution options and make recommendations to business, product and engineering teams. You should be comfortable with diving-deep and understand the mechanism of multiple complex systems.You will be responsible for delivering the launch plans and manage communications with Senior/Leadership teams with internal and external stakeholders. You will be comfortable with managing multiple projects and be willing to step-up and take on new projects/strategic initiatives.Export Control Requirement

7+ years of technical product or program management experience5+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience5+ years of software development experienceExperience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedulesExperience in supporting 0-1 product launches with high complexity and global scale.5+ years of experience in setting-up and managing complex project plans and a track record of successful delivery.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
