We are looking for a talented attorney with a background in consumer products, privacy or hardware and an interest in supporting the international growth of eero’s wifi products and services. At eero, we have a motto: to make wifi that just works. You’ll help us by working directly with the business to manage risks related to eero’s hardware portfolio, software services, and the international expansion of these offerings.

The attorney in this position will be based at eero’s headquarters in San Francisco, CA. Some travel, domestic and international, will be required.

Key job responsibilities

Your duties will include: advising on regulatory and compliance matters both domestically and internationally, working with outside counsel to understand and scope risks, and providing day-to-day input on privacy, intellectual property, marketing, and go-to-market strategy issues. The successful candidate will be inquisitive, enthusiastic about technology, enjoy working hard and being continually challenged, and will demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.

The eero legal team is part of Amazon Legal (Lab126), and we work alongside a diverse and expert team of business development, engineering, marketing, product, and international expansion professionals that are working on some of the most interesting legal challenges in tech. Basic Qualifications

Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent

5+ years of legal experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with a consumer technology company

Experience with consumer terms of use and privacy notices, including GDPR compliance

Familiarity with mobile app development or smart home devices

Experience advising on regulatory, privacy, product-related, and consumer-product risks – and consulting or working with outside counsel to manage those risks.

Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through, and meet deadlines.

Desire to learn about new subject matters and to dive deep into complex technical and business problems.

Ability to work independently while also contributing successfully to cross-functional teams.

Demonstrated sense of ownership and commitment to driving matters to conclusion.
