As a Staff Accountant, you will accurately maintain a general ledger and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Staff Accountant responsibilities:
Record and maintain accurate and up-to-date entries in the general ledger
Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a regular basis
Maintaining documentation for accounts payable, purchasing, and treasury and conducting internal audits
Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
