Senior Process Engineer

Job DescriptionAbout the Role:We are seeking a scientist or engineer with a proven track record in automation and scaling, eager to take part in the development of a high-growth, fast-paced, automated laboratory.The ideal candidate will have an interdisciplinary background in molecular biology, lab automation, and programming, with experience in designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting automated sample-processing workflows.The ideal candidate has a background in a requirements-driven approaches within a clinical laboratory or molecular biology-based laboratory.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Apply scientific methods and engineering skills in efforts for scalability sample processing workflows.Collaborate or lead cross-functional teams working in a variety of projects to explore, develop, optimize, test, and put in place scalable solutions for sample processing workflows.Demonstrate a solid understanding of business and user requirements and improving efficiency, throughput, and quality of processes.Contribute to protocol, report writing, and presentation preparation.Program and troubleshoot liquid handling robotics platforms for whole blood separation - preferably on a Hamilton platform.Integrate automated methods with sample tracking and data management software (is a plus).
