You would join our Venue Sector as an Audio-Video Design Engineer working on things like...Assisting in the development of overall audio-video (AV) design, layouts, details, rack elevations and schematics under the direction of a senior designer/engineer.Prepare drawings of system layout, details, rack elevations and signal flow diagrams.Mentoring and providing oversight and direction to entry level designers/engineers.Performing necessary calculations associated with the design of AV broadcast systems.Conducting job site visits, construction observations and/or attend client meetings as needed.Assists with developing, establishing, and maintaining relationships with strategic partners and customers in support of business development and/or pursuit activities.Participates in client, company and/or industry events to build and maintain professional relationships.Fosters a client-centric mindset and approach individually and within their team.Communicates with clients as needed for the development and coordination of requirements and scope of work, maintaining proactive communication throughout the project cycle.Proactively shares information and updates and related ideas and suggestions for technical and process improvements with peers and leaders.Occasional travel may be required (up to 25%).We'd love for you to apply for this position if you....Have a bachelor's degree in relevant field of engineering (i.e., mechanical, electrical, fire protection or architectural) and 3 years of relevant experience, or 5 years of experience without degree required. Professional Engineering (PE) license may be counted toward 1 year of direct experience.Have advanced knowledge and proficiency in audio-video design, A&E industry, codes, design guides and standards required, as well as a broad understanding of other engineering disciplines.Are proficient in Revit and have experience with AutoCAD or other AV related design tools such as Vectorworks.Have BICSI, AVIXA, and Plasa certification(s) or similar preferred.Have the ability to meet fast-paced deadlines while maintaining quality design.Have high technical aptitude: ability to learn, understand and utilize various systems and processes.
