Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled leader to play a critical role in executing go to market activities across multiple priorities on the Payments Optimization product roadmap. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the healthcare payment ecosystem and communication products. This person should have strong business acumen and a successful track record of leading and coaching product team members to deliver on most important tasks (MITs). This role reports into the Sr. Director, Product - Payments Optimization.Responsibilities:As a Director, Product-Payments Optimization, you will be responsible for executing the vision, strategy, and roadmap across current and future products across the healthcare journey between payers, providers, and members.Provide product management throughout the product development and release lifecycle by leveraging customer feedback and evaluating KPIs to prioritize and deliver products that drive growth.Support a customer-first product vision, strategy, and roadmap.Plan initiatives in the feature roadmap and lifecycle, from ideation to support.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement, rollout, and measure meaningful features.Oversee the product backlog and coordinate with other teams to deliver customer value.Conduct market research and engage with industry stakeholders to understand market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.Gather and analyze customer insights to drive product innovations.Drive Go-to-market activities for successful product launches.Work closely with engineering, sales, account management, marketing, client services, finance, treasury, accounting, and learning & development teams.Prepare tasks with clear and complete business requirements, involving all contributing and impacted business units and IT.Assist engineering in the refinement of technical requirements.Meet with clients as needed to understand requirements and offer possible solutions.Establish and track project plans to accomplish project activities.Deliver timely stakeholder updates across all initiatives.Manage project risk with alternative plans as required.Ensure team provides targeted training for more complex features to internal users in advance of deployment.Coordinate retrospectives at pre-established intervals to implement continuous process improvements.Competencies:Experience in leading direct reports and fostering team growth and development.Product experience in Payments/banking/fintech industry.Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.Strong strategic thinker with project management experience.Experience leading mission-critical programs involving significant business change.Experience with developing and monitoring process improvement initiatives.Intermediate-Expert data manipulation skills; SQL database queries a plus.Ability to utilize web-based applications for project management.Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.Strong ability to identify and resolve issues or risks associated with projects.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proven track record of creating and delivering presentations to senior leadership.Experiences/Background:Bachelor's degree in Business, Product Management, or equivalent experience preferred.5+ years of product management experience in fin-tech or healthcare industry preferred.8+ years experience in leading and coaching teams.Track record of successfully launching products at scale.Strong understanding of business fundamentals and ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies.Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining strategic alliances.Exceptional problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.Willingness to travel to industry and customer sites as needed.Passion for innovation and commitment to delivering exceptional products.Location and Workplace Flexibility:We have offices in multiple locations and foster a hybrid and remote-friendly culture.Commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging:At Zelis, we champion diversity and create an environment where people can bring their authentic selves to work.Equal Employment Opportunity:Zelis is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.Accessibility Support:If you require a reasonable accommodation with any part of the application process, please email TalentAcquisition@zelis.com.SCAM ALERT:
