Family Law/Litigation Attorney
to handle complex family law cases. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of litigation experience, including expertise in family law proceedings. A California Bar license is required, and the candidate should be willing to travel for client meetings and court appearances within the Bay Area.Duties:Manage complex family law cases, including drafting and responding to Requests for Orders (RFOs).Appear at law and motion hearings, representing clients in various family law matters.Collaborate with partners on trial preparation and case strategy.Develop and implement discovery plans in coordination with partners.Propound and respond to discovery requests, ensuring thorough evidence gathering.Review and evaluate evidence to support case arguments.Conduct and defend depositions, preparing clients and witnesses for testimony.Draft discovery motions and other legal documents as required.Identify and analyze legal issues, providing strategic advice and recommendations.Utilize case management software to streamline workflow and manage case documentation.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and experts throughout the case.Interface with experts to gather insights and support case strategies.Travel for client meetings and court appearances within the Bay Area as needed.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.4-6 years of litigation experience, with a focus on family law (preferred).Familiarity with family law proceedings and procedural nuances.Willingness to travel within the Bay Area for client meetings and court appearances.Certifications:Skills:Strong experience in family law, including managing complex cases and understanding procedural nuances.Excellent drafting and legal writing skills for preparing motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, opposing counsel, and experts.Proficiency in using case management software to enhance workflow efficiency.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address legal issues.Ability to collaborate with partners and manage case preparation and strategy.Willingness to travel for client meetings and court appearances within the Bay Area.Company infoBCG Attorney Search1750 Montgomery St Fl 1San FranciscoCaliforniaUnited States 94111Phone :
