Job Summary:The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Manager will play a key role delivering successful client engagements by ensuring change initiatives meet project objectives on time and on budget and increase employee adoption and usage. The Manager will focus on the people side of change - including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. This individual will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes to increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes.While this role does not have supervisory responsibility, this person will have to work through many others in the organization to succeed. The OCM Manager will act as a coach for senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfill the role of change sponsor. The OCM Manager may also provide direct support and coaching to frontline managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions.Job Duties:Works with clients to apply a structured methodology to support change management.Conducts assessments of change management needs to determine appropriate strategies including organizational design requirements and communicate effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders.Identifies, analyzes, prepares risk mitigation tactics and identifies and manages anticipated resistance during change management planning.As an integral member of the engagement team, consults, trains and coaches project teams in understanding change management, creates actionable deliverables for identified areas of change management focus and lead change management communication initiatives.Produces deliverables including change management strategies and implementation plans that communicate concepts such as current state and desired future state and align with overall engagement objectives.Client expectations vary and engagements can be fast paced and complex, must be able to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences and be able to approach tasks with a problem solving and root cause analysis mindset and skill.Develops quality documentation with little guidance and direction from senior professionals.Supports and coaches managers and supervisors through change management.Evaluates and ensures user readiness.Tracks and reports issues.Defines and measures success metrics and monitors change progress.Supports change management at the organizational level, Enterprise Change Management.Manages portfolio and change load.Executes high-quality project management.Ability to travel 20%-50% of the time.Other duties as required.Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Education:Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, required; focus in Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, preferred.Experience:Five (5) or more years of experience in one (1) or more of the following disciplines, required:Management/ Business Strategy Consulting.Project Management/Organizational Change Management.Business Analysis/Business Process Improvement.Multiple, successful experiences in two (2) or more of the following services: M&A Integration, Business Transformation, Finance Transformation, Technology Implementation / Optimization, or other large-scale organizational change, required.Management Consulting experience, preferred.License/Certification:Change Management Certification with one (1) or more of the following, preferred: Prosci, Certified Change Management Professionals (CCMP), Change Management Specialist (CMS), Certified Problem and Change Manager (CPCM), Accelerating Implementation Methodology (AIM).Software:Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, required.Smartsheet experience, preferred.Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Deep understanding of the change and change process.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.Excellent active listening skills as required to interview clients.Ability to understand the nature and potential impact of change.Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.Forward-looking with a holistic approach.Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics and ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details.Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization.Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.Strong analytical and research skills.Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment.Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.Keywords:
