TBDJob Description:This is a non-represented position (no union affiliation) and is subject to the provisions of the Personnel Rules of the Municipality of Anchorage.Under general direction of the Employment Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for all areas of recruiting and layoff process throughout the Municipality. Responsibilities include:Prepare and post vacancy announcements;Receipt, evaluation, screening, and referral of qualified applicants for Municipal vacancies;Make employment offers and complete all pre-employment requirements;Notify applicants who are not successful;Review and evaluate screening and testing devices;Speak at public meetings and participate in job fairs and other recruitment events;Perform other related duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma, GED, or equivalent and six (6) years of human resources experience;OR Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline and four (4) years of human resources experience;OR Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline and two (2) years of human resources experience.All applicants must possess and/or obtain a satisfactory background check which includes criminal, education, and employment history at time of hire.Personal Suitability Qualifications:
Good character, loyalty, honesty, demeanor, industry, amenability to supervision, and willingness to cooperate with associates are required for this position.Application Process:
