Represent WW Medical Affairs in cross-functional interactions with other global functions, providing support to countries within the assigned scope.The position will contribute to the global strategy while co-leading the launch implementation and roll-over of new indications in key countries from a Medical Affairs perspective.This position may lead to substantial travel time including medical affairs strategy meetings, educational meetings, advisory boards, individual KOL meetings, EU and US congresses, among others.Key responsibilities :Critically contribute to the development and execution of the medical strategy, defining WW medical launch plan & annual budget alongside the WW Disease Lead.Act as the therapeutic expert in supporting cross-functional CCF planning, presentation, and leadership endorsement.Establish solid partnerships with TLs/HCPs to execute engagement activities tailored to the medical strategy.Support the planning and execution of the scientific communication plan and insight gathering activities.Support ongoing clinical trials as well as medical affairs studies.Support relevant independent medical education initiatives as per medical plan.Guide the WW cross-functional publication strategy, providing medical insight for the review of individual manuscripts/abstracts.Update and support the BMS countries in the preparation of pre/post launch plans and support ongoing early assets and established brands globally.Support the planning of medical training activities in collaboration with Field Medical Excellence team.Support Markets Access projects and other documents as requested.Participate in team meetings as appropriate to understand operational, strategic, research and other adhoc issues being conducted.Experience Requirements:Advanced Scientific Degree (PharmD, MD, PhD or Biomedical Science advanced degree).Solid experience in medical affairs, clinical and/or translational research in hematology or oncology.Preferably 5+ years of medical and/or research experience, preferably with a focus on oncology or hematology.Good understanding of industry environment.Key Competency Requirements:Solid organization and project management experience with proven ability to multitask and prioritize critical company issues.Excellent analytical skills and solid experience in translating medical/clinical information into medical affairs strategies.Strong interpersonal skills, ability to remain calm and positive under pressure.Excellent communication skills, including presentations to large groups and facilitation of interactive discussions.Experience creating and managing budgets.User of Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).Regular travel required (approx 20-25%).#LI-HybridIf you come across a role that intrigues you but doesn’t perfectly line up with your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway.
