LivaNova is headquartered in London (UK) with a presence in over 100 countries and a team of more than 3,000 employees worldwide.Job Overview:The Director, Privacy Operations, is primarily responsible for managing LivaNova's global privacy projects in both the Neuromodulation and Cardiopulmonary business units. Reporting directly to the Chief Privacy Officer (CPO), this highly relational privacy operations role requires strong consulting skills, complex project management experience, and the proven ability to implement and lead a cross-functional enterprise privacy program.The individual will identify and track priority activities, initiatives, goals, objectives, and KPIs for the LivaNova privacy team. The individual will be responsible for managing cross-functional committees focused on privacy initiatives and ensure the timely delivery of project deliverables.Responsibilities:Act as the organizational resource for LivaNova's privacy team, ensuring alignment with the Company's strategic goals.Support the CPO in accomplishing privacy compliance-related and administrative tasks.Work closely with the CPO to organize and run privacy governance meetings.Manage privacy risk register and ensure alignment and execution on all related work.Monitor and respond to inquiries submitted to the Company regarding privacy-related topics.Manage and respond to privacy rights requests in compliance with applicable law.Manage administrative work associated with internal and external DPOs.Draft internal privacy policies and procedures.Attend meetings for assigned function teams to facilitate progress, provide guidance, and support.Collaborate with functional leads and ensure the timely execution of privacy deliverables.Identify and communicate inter-dependencies and cross-functional barriers; recommend and coordinate solutions to ensure progression of deliverables.Partner with a variety of stakeholders located worldwide, both within LivaNova and external to the Company.Assist and advise others to ensure privacy recommendations and reports are consistent and coordinated across the organization and thoroughly crafted.Utilize LivaNova Business Systems planning and reporting templates and ensure timely updates from all leads for the duration of assigned privacy projects.Work daily with a high level of integrity and promote a diverse and inclusive workplace culture in both people and thought leadership that is consistent with LivaNova's values.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree (e.g., JD) preferred.Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a consultant or project manager, preferably in the medical or medical device field, with a successful track record in managing high-profile and complex projects related to privacy and data governance.Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and ensuring the timely delivery of project deliverables.Strong knowledge and background in U.S. and international privacy and data protection legal regimes.Strong, confident facilitation skills.Strong business acumen and the ability to align project activities with strategic goals.Exceptional communication and presentation skills to engage and influence C-level stakeholders.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.OneTrust experience preferred.Caring, empathetic, and solution-centric approach in the workplace.Demonstrated commitment to LivaNova's mission, vision, and pillars.Travel Requirements:This position may require occasional business travel 25% or more of the time (Houston or OUS).Employee Benefits Include:Health benefits - Medical, Dental, VisionPersonal and Vacation TimeRetirement & Savings Plan (401K)Employee Stock Purchase PlanTraining & Education AssistanceBonus Referral ProgramService AwardsEmployee Recognition ProgramFlexible Work SchedulesPay Transparency:A reasonable estimate of the annual base salary for this position is $124,250 - $206,750 + discretionary annual bonus.
