Arlington United Methodist Church is seeking a passionate, driven, creative, and Christ-centered person to join our pastoral team as the Director of Congregational Growth. This is a full-time position, fully funded, and the start date is flexible.
Due to many factors, Arlington UMC has lost most of its membership in recent years. The remaining congregation is inspired and dedicated to ensuring AUMC can thrive as God’s witness in the area for years to come, as it has for the past 150 years.
To that end, we are seeking a pastor/minister/leader called to building a new congregation within the parameters of Arlington United Methodist Church. Our hope is that this new faith community might be culturally, socially, racially, and economically diverse.
In faithfulness to God, we believe the Holy Spirit will direct the steps of this endeavor. We are open to all qualified candidates as we move through this selection process, with a preference for an ordained elder or deacon in the UMC.
