GENERAL SUMMARY:

Supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for the development and implementation of child-specific treatment programming targets designed to achieve Treatment Plan goals. Provide daily supervision for center clinical staff and patients, including registered behavior technicians and behavior therapists. Develop and implement all aspects of behavior management techniques and intervention plans; conduct patient intake evaluations, assessments and complete all written reports of such. Participate in staff orientation and training programs, as well as ongoing skill development for all program personnel. Work in collaboration with other Supervising BCBA’s, Center Director(s), Clinical Quality Director, Director of Operations and Executive Director to ensure smooth program operation.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis or related fieldExceptional written and verbal communication skills enabling incumbent to work with children, families, schools, and other professionalsProficiency in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and PowerPointRequired Length and Type of Experience:Previous experience working with individuals of all ages with Autism Spectrum Disorder (including young and school-aged children) using applied behavior analysis programming.Required Licensure, Certification or Registry:Board Certified Behavior Analysts licensureMaryland Behavior Analyst licensure, or evidence of eligibility of licensureRequired Physical and Environmental Demands:Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting students, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination, physically able to manage students of varying weight and sizes. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Participate in intake process for potential patients/clients, conduct initial and ongoing assessments, develop and monitor treatment plan/goals, and generate and maintain appropriate documentation.Initiate and complete functional behavioral assessments, develop behavioral treatment plans, and monitor progress on plans, and making modifications as needed.Participate in new and ongoing staff training, conduct RBT supervision, train staff/parents on goals and plans, and conduct ongoing fidelity checks; lead community workshops and present at local conferences.Communicate with parents, educators, insurance companies, and other professionals regarding progress and submit required documentation; maintain compliance with appropriate policies and regulatory standards.Participate in professional organizations, conferences and symposiums and present as needed.
