Title/Position:

Materials Program Manager

Overview:

As a Materials Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the materials management process to ensure efficient production operations. You will be responsible for inventory control, production planning, warehouse management, supplier management, and logistics coordination. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, lean manufacturing principles, and experience with Oracle EBS.

Responsibilities:

Stay on top of project’s material status: Manage material and delivery schedules to ensure materials will come on time and avoid line-down situations.

Look for all possible ways to solve material shortages – Spot market, brokers, suppliers or coordinate with customers to resolve the shortage.

Work with suppliers to resolve material shortages.

Actively communicate with clients providing the material status.

Update PB material shortage report.

Negotiate quotations with brokers to obtain the best possible pricing with a reasonable lead time.

Provide quotations of raw materials to end customers and monitor the logistics process to ensure that shipments will be ready and delivered on time.

Solve incoming shipment material issues such as quality issues and RMA requests.

Coordinate material repairs either on or off site.

Track material returns and credit memos.

Coordinate with Incoming Quality Assurance department to resolve material discrepancies (e.g., missing drawings, unknown lot/date codes, and missing components).

Consistently follow up with customs brokers by providing necessary documentation, signatures, approvals, and codes to avoid logistical delays of material shipments.

Ensure that RMAs are processed correctly by the supplier and monitor when the credit or replacement materials will arrive.

Actively communicate with internal PE to ensure BOM is up to date and accurate.

Work with the receiving department to resolve receiving discrepancies to prevent delays.

Synchronize with internal CFT (PM, WH, & Production teams) on material status to align with production build plans, informing CFT which builds are CTB and which are not.

Manage and assist buyers regarding expediting materials, requesting samples, and resolving PO issues.

Work with suppliers and Nvidia for alternate parts suggestions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

Proven experience in materials management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and practices.

Experience with supplier management and contract negotiations.

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in supply chain or OEM management.

Experience in using SAP or any related ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning System) is a plus.

Must have strong written comprehension and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in computer literacy and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).

Mandarin speaking required.

$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
