FULL-TIME/PERMANENT
JOB FUNCTION:
As a Material Planning Manager you will be responsible for ensuring continuity of supply chain in supporting requirements to meet production schedules and coordination of cost management activities and inventory management to avoid excess of material. You will work closely with our Program Managers, Engineers and Supply Chain team on advance planning capability and material risk assessment and lead-time profiling for new products.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
B.S. degree in Business Administration or a technical field, M.B.A. is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 5-7 years of material experience or supplier management experience. APICS certification is desirable.
LANGUAGE:
English proficiency required, Mandarin is a plus.
SKILLS:
Computer literate
Strong communication skills
Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
Collaborative skills
Ability to work cross-functionally
Familiarity with various supply chain management systems and measurement tools to ensure shipping efficiency
Strong analysis and problem solving skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage all materials related to activities for the assigned programs
Effectively develops and implements plans for meeting customer needs
Communicate all requirements to all parties involved
Ensure timely delivery of products to meet customer needs
Manage suppliers to avoid delays in product delivery
Effectively manage material costs
Excess and obsolete management
Coordinate materials quotation activities to meet customer deadlines and company profitability goals
Provide materials status to all cross-functional teams for assigned programs
Coordinate materials pipelining to ensure a smooth transition of materials from NPI facility to the production facility.
