A law firm is seeking a highly skilled Life Sciences Intellectual Property Attorney to manage a range of complex legal matters with a focus on life sciences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intellectual property law, with significant experience in handling life sciences-related cases. This role requires a combination of legal expertise, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.Duties:Simultaneously handle high-level and strategic aspects of multiple legal matters from inception to conclusion.Provide expert legal advice and representation in intellectual property matters, particularly in the life sciences sector.Manage business development efforts, both individually and as part of a team.Produce high-quality legal work and meet billing requirements to ensure excellent client service.Comply with the highest ethical standards of the legal profession.Demonstrate the ability to work independently and maintain productivity.Communicate effectively with clients and attorneys to advance legal strategies and resolve issues.Stay updated with the latest developments in life sciences and intellectual property law.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Ph.D. or Master’s Degree in a Life Sciences discipline preferred.Registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).Licensed to practice law in good standing in Delaware (DE).Minimum of 6 years of experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm or during clerkship.6+ years of experience at a law firm preferred.Expertise in immunology, genetics, molecular biology, and/or pharmaceuticals is highly preferred.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree.Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master's) in a Life Sciences discipline preferred.Certifications:Registration to practice before the USPTO.Licensed to practice law in Delaware.Skills:Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple legal matters.Demonstrated interest in advancing a career in litigation.Expertise in life sciences-related intellectual property issues.Proven track record of producing high-quality legal work and meeting billing requirements.Location:Company Info:
