Coordinate and plan activities to be engaging and meaningful, meeting the clients individual needs and abilities. The Coordinator is responsible for the day to day operations and leadership of the respite centres. This includes the following key responsibilities:This position requires you to divide your time between both respite centres, located in Forrestfield and Hilton. Flexible working environment available.We’ll also be asking you to:

Ensure delivery of a reliable, high quality service is provided to all clients and carers in the Respite Centres.Develop meaningful activities that are engaging and tailored to the needs and preferences of the day to day attendees of the respite centres.Maintain a motivated, capable respite care team encouraging multi-disciplinary working and problem solving.Provide development, mentoring, coaching and supervision with the respite care team.Conduct people management responsibilities relating to staffing, on-boarding, training, performance management and leave planning for the area.Participate in team meetings and implement changes and other improvements initiated in this process.In partnership with the Manager Care Coordination, ensure a proactive approach to incident and feedback management and commitment to continuous improvement.Be a positive influence in team culture and drive for success.Support the team to develop sound problem solving skills.Monitor consumer engagement and experience for the region, promoting positive customer service.Proactively market Respite Centre services within the local, and wider communities identifying opportunities for business growth.About you:

The ideal person will have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role in a large and complex service delivery organisation. Experience and knowledge in Procura highly regarded.To be considered for this role, you’ll need:

To comply with criminal history checks as per the Aged Care Act 1997. This includes production of a satisfactory National Police Clearance and completion of a statutory declaration prior to commencement of employment and every three (3) years thereafter.Working rights in Australia.Consent to obtaining an annual influenza vaccination and COVID vaccinations in accordance with Federal legislation.Working with us:
