Design Engineer Internship
Responsibilities
Perform engineering analysis and apply problem-solving methods to support new product development and/or sustain the production of existing designsCreate designs and drawings based on engineering specifications and customer requirementsWrite/Review/Edit test plans and engineering reports in support of new and existing programsAssist in qualification test programsAssist manufacturing and the test lab with creating tooling designs for new and existing designsTroubleshoot processes and tooling to resolve manufacturing and test issuesMaintain accurate, orderly project records, including design and test data, customer specifications, directives, etc.Interact with internal customers as an engineering representative
Minimum Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering curriculumMechanical aptitude displayed through work experience or personal hobbies/projectsExperience with group work environmentsMust be a US Citizen
Preferred Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace EngineeringFamiliarity with machining and manufacturing methods and processesMechanical design experience3D modeling and drawing creation with Creo (or equivalent software)
Manufacturing Engineer Internship
Responsibilities
Perform engineering analysis and apply problem-solving methods to support new product development and/or sustaining production of existing designsAssist manufacturing with tooling organization systemTroubleshoot processes and tooling to resolve manufacturing issuesCreate designs and drawings based on engineering specifications or descriptions of customer requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace EngineeringExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMS Office proficientMechanical aptitude displayed through personal hobbies/projects or work experienceExperience with group work environments.Must be a U.S. Citizen
Automation Engineer Internship
Responsibilities
Support the Automation and Software Group with any required technical needsWork within Microsoft Excel to perform data analysis and visualizationDocument new or improved processesReview standard work for completeness and ease of understandingCoordinate with IT to ensure full communication and support for all ASG projectsTake lead on projects to see through to completionBuild an understanding of manufacturing processesResearch best practices and IIoT capabilitiesPossibility to work hands-on with electronics, sensors, and roboticsAssist with analyzing current systems to identify gaps or possible improvements
Minimum Qualifications
U.S. CitizenPursuing a bachelor\'s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fieldMicrosoft Office proficiencyGood personal organizational skills to control productivityExcellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
CAD experienceExperience/working knowledge of manufacturing processesExperience with SQL and writing queriesKnowledge of PLC ladder logic, Arduinos, Raspberry Pi, PythonLike to work hands-on breadboarding electronicsInterest in robotics and machine learningExperience with data visualization tools
