This person will act as interim Director of Food and Beverage or other Department position as needed. Planning and management of Banquet Operations, Hotel Restaurant, Room Service and other food and beverage outlets as appropriate in order to achieve customer satisfaction, quality service, compliance with corporate/franchise policies and procedures and federal, state and local regulations while meeting/exceeding financial goals. The position will be based remotely with travel expecations up to 100%.ResponsibilitiesImplements HEI Tools, processes and procedures at the property and ensure ongoing compliance.Stabilizes property with focus on proper staffing, tools to do the job, and expense controls.Establishes a strong GSS focus with daily review of verbatims, establishing and consistently working on an action plan to improve.Ensures Brand Standards and Property Safety Standards are closely followed at all times.Forecasts, implements, monitors, controls and reports on the various outlet budgets and their components (labor costs, food costs, beverage costs, supplies, equipment, etc.) to maximize revenue and minimize expenses while ensuring adequate supplies and staff are on hand to provide top quality customer service.Abides by all State, Federal and Corporate liquor requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.Interviews, hires, trains, recommends performance evaluations, resolves problems, provides open communication and recommends discipline and/or termination when appropriate.Creates, recommends and implements promotions, displays, buffet presentations and ideas to capture more in house guests and a larger share of the local market.Identifies Social Media and email marketing needs and ensure continuing online presence.Monitors and controls the maintenance and sanitation of the various outlet areas and equipment to protect the assets, comply with regulations and ensure quality service.Performs any other job related duties as assigned.QualificationsMust be able and willing to travel 100% of the timeBachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or Food Service Management preferred.A minimum of 2-5 years’ relevant Food and Beverage experience.Strong experience in Microsoft Office along with various software programs knowledge, POS/Open Table.Hotel Experience preferred.Communication and Leadership Skills.Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.Ability to instruct and teach others how to do something.Must be self-disciplined.Must possess time managementHEI Hotels and Resorts is committed to providing a comprehensive benefit program that offers you choices for your physical, mental and financial wellness, creating value in your most important investment - you!For your physical and mental wellness we offer competitive Medical and Dental programs through Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield as well as Vision insurance programs through EyeMed.
