About the Role The General Dynamics Land Systems Summer 2025 Internship Program provides an opportunity for students looking to start or continue the transition from academia into industry. Our three-month internship assignments provide compensation based on area of study and class standing, and have the students embedded in key functional areas of our business, getting real-world experience and mentorship from seasoned professionals. As part of your summer experience, you will join our team and use your education, experience, and creativity to make an impact.This is an internship position where you will be a team member with engineers that are responsible for the design, development, integration, and delivery of specialized Automated Test Equipment to validate and verify functional performance of vehicle hardware.

Responsibilities to Anticipate for this Role

Perform regression testing on both test benches and vehicles.Document test failures and discussion with the engineering team.Update test procedures.Develop test strategies.Develop test reports.Work with other members of the engineering staff to ensure the product meets its requirements.Perform problem and troubleshooting skills

Qualifications Sought

Pursuing a bachelor's degree majoring inMechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering from an accredited 4-year university or college.Attained at least a sophomorestatus based on university/college's class standing requirements at the start of the internship.Preferred - GPA of 3.0 or higherMust be at least 18 years oldMust be a U.S. Person (i.e. a lawful permanent resident of the U.S.)Must successfully pass standard pre-employment screens and must provide an official college or university transcript from their school before their first day of employment.Must be able to complete a minimum of a full time, 3 month assignmentSelf-motivated with a willingness to listen and learnGood written and verbal communication skillsGood organizational skillsFamiliar with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Project, OneNote, and PowerPoint)
