QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
Bachelor's Degree in geography, information systems or similar field of study requiredAbility to demonstrate and maintain a good safety recordStrong interpersonal communication skillsExperience or training in computer-related systemsStrong data analysis skillsFamiliar with OMS, ADMS, GIS ViewersAbility to work all required hours including evenings and weekends in response to acute servicesAbility to pass a background checkWorking knowledge of GIS applications, along with basic knowledge of CAD preferred
DUTIES INCLUDE:
Accurately enter data into the Geographic Information System (GIS) databaseAssist crew members, engineers, and supervisors with map creationUpdate and upload maps, drawings, and prints into the GIS systemUtilize different analysis tools on existing data to ensure proper attribution and connectivityComplete all service ordersConvert hardcopy prints and drawings made by crew members and engineers into e-filesReview and analyze GIS reports and data to best utilize the informationReview, update, and archive existing data for current, accurate and completenessAssist users with GIS applications to define data, project requirements, and outputsSupport users on operation of GIS applications and databasesComplete all other projects as assignedAdhere to company safety standards and the Code of Business Conduct & EthicsEnsure all actions are consistent with NorthWestern Energy's values, mission, and strategic business objectives
Full-time position.
$54,000 - $94,300 annually, depending on experience.
