is seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Financial Analyst
to support NAVSEA O5T government Budget Financial Manager (BFM) in the
Washington Navy Yard . Work will be Hybrid (3 days in person, 2 days remote). The ideal candidate will have a background in financial analysis within the Department of Defense (DoD).JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Conduct thorough financial analysis and reporting to track program expenditures and forecast future financial requirements.Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.Provide financial support to program leadership for decision-making.Track budgets, costs, and variances.QualificationsREQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.At least 3+ years of experience in financial analysis within the DoD, preferably Navy.REQUIRED SKILLS:Experience with DoD financial management systems and processes such as WAWF, N-ERP, PBIS etc.Strong understanding of government contracting and compliance requirements.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.REQUIRED CLEARANCE:Must have an ACTIVE Secret security clearance.
