Position SummaryThe primary purpose of this position is to support enrollment into clinical services that include screenings, referrals, and care coordination for women, including perinatal women with a history of substance use, trauma, and incarceration. Additionally, this person will be responsible for uploading the clinical documentation received into REDcap, Excel, or other secured databases to support outpatient reentry programs. This position will assist with meeting the expectations of the Prenatal Block grant managed by Alliance Health and the CHERISH project funded through the Wake County Opioid Settlement Funds.

Minimum Education and Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree in a Human Services discipline with coursework related to the area of assignment. Some positions may require certification to practice as a certified or licensed Clinical Social Worker as required by the North Carolina Social Work Certification Board.

Required Qualifications, Competencies, and ExperienceRequires a bachelor's degree in a human services discipline (Human Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, etc.), including eligibility of becoming a Qualified Professional status. Some positions may require certification to practice as a certified or licensed Clinical Social Worker as required by the North Carolina Social Work Certification Board.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and ExperienceHistory, knowledge, and at least one year of exposure to social work or counseling experience; or experience with the substance abuse population, gender-specific treatment, child and family counseling, justice-involved population and a perinatal setting preferred. An ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, time management skills, charting and documentation, and ability to address clinical needs in a timely manner.In addition, an ideal candidate would have the following experience:1. Knowledge of SUD in adults2. Knowledge of record keeping and administrative duties3. Skill in assessment, case management, advocacy, and individual and group therapy.4. Knowledge of the needs and concerns of women, including some exposure to issues such as childhood and adult trauma, domestic violence, sexual assault, substance abuse., pregnancy/parenting, and legal and economic difficulties.5. Ability to work with women from varying incomes, ages, ethnic/racial groups, lifestyles.6. Knowledge of residential environments7. Knowledge of supervisory role, especially with paraprofessionals.

Specialized knowledge of motivational interviewing, 12-step Philosophy, trauma therapies, and recovery principals.
