As the Merchandising Analyst you will provide support to Website Merchandising teams.Overview of the Merchandise Analyst roleYou will help manage and create seasonal merchandise databases for both Pottery Barn Teen eCommerce products. You will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating processes and flow of information internally and externally. As the Merchandising Analyst you will provide support to Website Merchandising teams.ResponsibilitiesCompile and input data to maintain seasonal product information databases eCommerce and Dorm WishlistWork closely with creative team to assist in creation and maintenance of creative product databasesWork closely with Website merchandising team to ensure correct site layout and ensure site data integrity and correct product set-upCreate and maintain change forms to ensure database consistency working closely with Creative teamInterface with site managers, project management and e-technology team for timely database uploads, site deployments, and reporting of issuesManage database uploads to merchant preview, dev, and QA testing environmentsReview creative content for product data integrityCoordinate and participate in weekly site testing in order to ensure correct data integrityCoordinate the archiving of Website seasonal features, functionality, and productsOther projects as assigned

CriteriaBA/BS requiredPrevious e Commerce, retail or catalog experience 1-2 yearsStrong computer skills, including advanced excel skills, and word processing applications, must have an interest in the linkage from systems to the Web, access database a plusWell-organized, detail -orientedAble to make timely decisions anticipate problems and provide creative solutionsRetail experience and basic business knowledgeAction-oriented and full of energy for challengesAble to deal with ambiguity and a changing environmentMeticulous approach to managing and organizing information.Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with stakeholders.Ability to present data and insights to non-technical audiences.Experience working in cross-functional teams and coordinating with merchandise planners, buyers, and sales teams.Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and manage priorities.Understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce platforms, or supply chain logistics.Ability to perform work onsite in the San Francisco corporate office.Operate a computer and communicate via telephone

The expected starting pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00 an hour. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
