Registered Nurse - Urology ClinicUrology Procedure CenterFull TimeJob SummaryThe Urology Faculty Practice is a high-volume specialty clinic that focuses on a variety of urological diagnoses. The Urology Clinic treats adults with a wide range of urinary tract conditions, including common problems such as kidney and bladder stones, urinary tract infections, and urinary incontinence, as well as less common issues like obstructions of the urinary tract and painful bladder syndromes. In men, we provide treatment for benign conditions of the prostate gland, erectile dysfunction, and male infertility. Our team is also nationally known for expert repair of traumatic injuries to the genitals and urinary tract.Responsibilities:Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care.Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required.Performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision.Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team.Salary:

The salary range for this position is $84.78 - $109.85 (Hourly Rate).Required Qualifications:This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations.Knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position.Recent experience in the use of electronic medical record documentation.Minimum of two (2) years full-time RN experience.Recent (within last 2 years) Ambulatory Nursing Care experience.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.Experience and fluency in working with computers.Experience in outpatient setting.Knowledge of UCSF and APEX.Proficiency in handling sterile equipment.Knowledge of sterile processing.Experience with Urological patient population in inpatient and/or outpatient setting.License/Certification:Active Registered Nurse licensure in the State of California.Active American Heart Association CPR Certification.About UCSF:At UCSF Health, our mission of innovative patient care, advanced technology, and pioneering research is redefining what's possible for the patients we serve.
