Well respected specialty insurance organization in the greater Chicago area seeks Business Intelligence professional to support data needs for the business. The
Senior Business Intelligence Analyst
will assist with determining company data needs, structuring for analysis, and creating appropriate outputs (i.e. – key performance indicators, reports, and visualizations) for the organization’s decision makers.Duties & Responsibilities
Understand and interpret operational data and business user requirements to support and enhance company wide data usageCreate written reports to monitor the company’s metricsUse computer programming languages to create data visualizations in the form of charts and web dashboard applicationsWork with internal departments and staff to understand data needs and objectivesAnalyze and summarize operational data as neededSkills & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or similar discipline5 + years of experience in a role using SQL Server and/or Business Intelligence toolsExperience with Power BI including building Power BI dashboards, Report Builder paginated reports, RLS, apps, and schedulingCompensation & Benefits
$100,000 to $120,000, bonus, generous benefits package
