Job Summary:

Responsible for overseeing the entirety of all processes associated with the Cressona Quality Management System, in accordance with the ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards. Also includes managing conformance to other, customer-specific or ENA required standards such as VDA.

Required Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Engineering, Quality, etc.) required.

3 to 5 years of experience in a QMS role with a focus on manufacturing is accepted in lieu of a technical degree.

Minimum of 2 years' experience in ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and Customer Specific Requirements.

Minimum of 2 years' experience with problem-solving skills with knowledge of a structured problem-solving method (e.g., 8D, A3, etc.)

Minimum of 2 years' experience in AIAG Core Tools, AIAG CQI Assessments, IATF 16949 Lead Auditor.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

Certifications in Quality Systems Preferred; Lean Six Sigma Preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversees Quality Systems Certification: Oversees all site quality systems certifications (ISO, IATF, ASI, A2LA, others). Act as the primary point of interaction (Management Representative) ensuring accuracy of scope documents with our Quality System Registrar(s).

Training / Coaching on Quality Systems: Provides training and champions the network to management system excellence including conforming to ASI (Aluminum Stewardship Initiative), ISO 9001, IATF 16949, Customer Specific Requirements (CSR) and ENA policies.

Oversees Critical Auditing Functions: Organize, manage, lead, and undertake audits across all areas of the business as well as across the supply chain, including system and product audits.

Studies the competitive landscape to understand the best methods of performing key tasks within manufacturing with a focus on process performance, automating where possible, and enabling improved efficiencies. Understands the manufacturing process deeply and is willing / capable of learning.

Liaise and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers, and other service suppliers.

Work closely with all levels of plant personnel to understand current state and develop engineered solutions to address nonconformities and drive permanent improvement.
