All about the role:

Within the Group Procurement Organization, the Procurement Category Manager has the key responsibility of awarding new businesses in close collaboration with the Global Categories. Our mission is to ensure the award of businesses to the best suppliers through project negotiations, using advanced tools such as refined cost models and Supplier Development methodologies, fulfilling the targets of cost, quality, and flexibility.

We operate in all the regions (Business Areas) with a panel of international suppliers, engaging them with our internal business partners such as Sales, R&D, Quality, Manufacturing & Engineering, Product Line, Marketing, and Finance. We rely on building strong cooperation and focus on innovation, quality, and the development of long-term relationships with our strategic suppliers. Sustainability and continuous improvement are the elements that underpin our activity.

What you'll do:

Global PL Category ownership for all Business Areas, managing the business strategically with the objective to leverage and promote complexity reduction, modularization, cost performance, and innovation initiatives, driving LTAs negotiation, sourcing process, and decisions in close collaboration with the Global Domain Managers and key stakeholders (Product Line, Quality, Manufacturing, Design), cost analysis, etc.

Support the New Product Initiatives.

Develop and retain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Manage and evaluate contractual agreement terms to ensure compliance and more generally comply with sourcing procedures.

Support Programs in line with Purchasing strategy.

Minimum Qualifications:

5 years of relevant strategic sourcing, category management, or equivalent leadership experience required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Qualifications Required:

Proven track record managing and delivering cost reductions/value creation.

Strong knowledge of the strategic sourcing methodology and its application.

Ability to manage supplier relationships, including relationship building and performance management.

Results-oriented with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously, meeting critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment, strong organizational skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain good cross-functional working relationships.
