In our global community of people from 100+ countries, we listen to each other, actively contribute and grow together.Join us in our exciting quest to build the future home!All about the role:Directly reporting to the VP Procurement Raw Material and Transformation, you will lead the global Steel Raw Material Team with 5 direct reports globally distributed, and managing the entire Electrolux Group carbon and stainless steel spend. You will also lead strategic initiatives and projects, while driving commercial strategy and competitive positioning of the spend in scope.You will lead a team accountable for:Defining, driving and executing the category strategy globally and per regionDefining the supplier base and deploying supplier relationship management initiativesDriving negotiation, pricing and exposure strategy in order to maximize RMI index (YoY saving) and constantly improve price vs market.Defending Electrolux competitiveness from increasing market cycles and/or protectionism measures, both for direct and indirect steel volumesFinancial monthly reporting updateEnsure cross-qualification/dual sourcing in each plant and promote streamlined qualification approachSupplier contract managementPromoting overall cost-out opportunities involving R&D/Quality support (DME/Engineering changes, complexity reduction, de-specifications, Low Cost Country sourcing)Deploying strategic initiatives for the category (e.g. risk management, sustainability initiative on green steel)What you'll do:Collaborate with Procurement Leadership Team, Product Line procurement and Business Area ProcurementLead different Business Areas and Product LinesEngage with R&D and TDS (Technology, Digital and Sustainability)Work closely with SQI/QualityCoordinate with ManufacturingPartner with FinanceWho you are:A seasoned procurement professional with vast experience in steel/mechanical categories and global environmentA true leader and great communicatorA person ready to constantly challenge status quo.MSc degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Management, MBA or EquivalentStrong team playerFlexible and self-drivenStrategic approach and open-minded person focused on finding solutions and on continuous improvementStrong soft skills in managing relationships with both external and internal stakeholders inside a global environment and at different hierarchical levelsExcellent stress management skillsWhere you'll be:This position will be based at our North American Headquarters in Charlotte, NC.Benefits highlights:Medical benefits start day oneGenerous 401K matchTuition reimbursement opportunitiesAs part of Electrolux, we will continuously invest in you and your development.
